Your Monthly Statement

Three days before your plan renews, your assistant sends you a statement: a receipt of what your network produced over the billing period, with the evidence behind every line. Every dollar on it links to the referral or fee it came from. The same statement lives in the app under Reports, so you can open any past month, and you can ask your assistant for it any time ("show me my statement").

What the statement is

Each statement covers one billing period. It reads top to bottom, the number you care about first and the proof underneath. A section only appears when it has something true to say, so a month with no referral fees has no fee section rather than a row of zeros.

If you are not on a paid plan yet, the statement still arrives once a month, on the day of the month you joined, starting once your account is 45 days old.

Where to find it: Sidebar → Strategy → Reports → Monthly Statement. Direct URL: /dashboard/reports/statement.

What each section means

Revenue, tagged Won. Money you entered on referrals you marked won during the period, plus referral fees partners paid you. Under the total is the ledger: one row per referral or fee, who it came from, what the work was, when it closed, and the amount. Each row opens the record.

Estimated Revenue, tagged Estimate. Referrals you marked won but never put a value on, priced at your own typical value for that kind of work. The section says which typical value it used and links you to the referral so you can add the real figure. The estimate never mixes with recorded revenue.

Pipeline, tagged Estimate. The referrals still open, at your typical values, discounted by your conversion rate. The dollar figure appears only after you have ten referrals marked won or lost, because before that the rate is a guess. Until then the section shows the count of open referrals and names the ones at risk.

Referrals and Intros You Gave. The other direction: referrals and introductions you sent to partners, the value of that work when it is known, what the partner won with it, referral fees you paid, and fees owed to you. When a fee is overdue, a reminder is already drafted for you.

Center of Influence. How many people you have put in front of each other since you joined, how many this period, and what came of those pairs: met, became partners, did business together. Counts, not a rating.

What your assistant did for you. The follow-up you did not have to do: emails read, referrals found in your inbox before you logged them, drafts sent, meeting preps, meetings summarized, profiles updated. It adds up to a number of hours. If you have given an hourly rate, the hours become a dollar figure; if not, they stay hours.

Network Health. The same reading as your home page, at the end of the period: the number out of 100, the letter grade, the band word, and how far it moved. Under it, which partners warmed up, which cooled, and which at-risk relationships are active again.

Since You Joined. Lifetime totals across both directions: revenue, referrals won, intros received, follow-up done for you, referrals and intros given, work sent to partners, fees paid.

Your Plan. What you pay, when it renews, and the founder rate end date if you have one. When there was recorded revenue this period, a single line puts the two side by side: "N× what you pay." It is a plain multiple of your subscription price, never a return calculation, and it only counts recorded revenue.

Tip

Green on the statement is reserved for revenue. If a number is green, it is money that was actually recorded, not an estimate.

The quiet month

When a period has no revenue and at most one referral or introduction, the statement changes shape. It says so in two sentences, tells you how many emails your assistant read looking for referrals, and offers a link to log anything it missed. Then it gives you three moves for next month, each with a draft already written: thank the partner who gave and got nothing back, nudge the introduction sitting unanswered, ask the partner you are about to meet. Nothing sends until you say so.

If your mailbox or calendar connection dropped during the period, the reconnect line comes first and everything else is shortened, because the numbers cannot be complete until it is back.

Make the numbers better

The statement can only count what it can see. Three habits make it accurate:

  • Add a value when you mark a referral won. The editor offers your typical value for that service as a default; change it to the real figure and the referral moves from Estimated Revenue to Revenue.
  • Set a typical value per service. Where to find it: Header → your avatar → Profile → What your work is worth → Typical value per new client beside each service. This is what prices unvalued referrals and the pipeline.
  • Give an hourly rate. Same section, Your hourly rate. Optional. It turns the hours your assistant handled into a dollar figure on the statement.
Tip

The first statement asks for these too. Filling them in once means next month's statement shows dollars where this one showed hours and counts.

Past statements

Where to find it: Sidebar → Strategy → Reports → Monthly Statement.

The page opens with the current period so far, adding up live, and lists Past Statements underneath, one per billing period, kept exactly as sent. Open any of them to see the full ledgers and every "see all" list the email shortened.

Turn the email off

Where to find it: Header → your avatar → Settings → Notifications → Monthly network statement.

Switching it off stops the email. The statement page keeps building every period, so nothing is lost if you turn it back on. The unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email does the same thing.

On the iOS app

Ask your assistant for it in your own words:

  • "Show me my statement." Reads back the latest one: revenue with the ledger, the estimate, the pipeline, what you gave, your assistant's hours, network health, and the plan line.
  • "What did my network produce last month?"
  • "How is this month looking so far?" Builds the current period live.

Your assistant reads the figures from the statement itself, so what it says matches what the page shows. If there is no statement yet, it tells you when the first one arrives rather than guessing at numbers.

Tip

Ask "who owes me a referral fee?" after the statement lands. Your assistant names the partners from the Owed To You rows and can draft the reminder.
